So I haven’t gotten to talk on my weblog half as much as I’d planned, because of how much I have been helping my old man with his incredibly wacky midlife crisis. Right then and there he & I were on our way to some of those creepy classic car sales lots that you’re mostly sure are owned by the mob, and I see this wild old guy made out a check without even stopping to think, for an alarmingly shiny classic car. It’s an impressive item. It sounded great as well.

Notice that I wrote that last sentence in a past tense. It sounded amazing right until it seized up completely. The old man tells me that it’s a pretty easy fix and all he needs is the right part. Only thing is, it is not as straightforward to find 1969 Mustang parts as it was over three decades years ago, but my Dad insists that there is a really good-sized market for them still. From what I’m told the the easiest way to find parts for 1967 Mustangs is through web auctions, since you can find them refurbished and sometimes even brand new.
